Teacher Meeting/In-Service Details

Dearest Faculty and Staff,

Our in-service/teacher orientation event is scheduled for Thursday, August 23rd  2012 at Christ the King Anglican church.

Jill Higey-one of our new board members is preparing a luncheon, snacks and dinner. Word on the street is she is a SUPERB cook !

Schedule:

12:00pm Lunch
12:45pm First Faculty Session
2:15pm Break
2:30pm Second Faculty Session
4:00pm Break
4:15pm Final Session
5:45pm Break
6:00pm Dinner–meet and greet with the new school board members, faculty, staff and their families.

Child care will be provided in Christ the King nursery from 12:45 until dinner. Your young children may attend the luncheon as well.
All spouses and children are invited to the Meet & Greet Dinner.

Some sessions will be all faculty & staff and some will be break-outs by department or academic area. If you have ANYTHING that you would like to see addressed during these sessions, please send concerns, questions, or ideas ASAP to me at michelle.caldwell@dominionacademy.org. (Examples: student issues, protocols, grading, discipline, processes, etc.)

We are setting the content of the sessions and we want to be certain to not overlook anything.

We will be welcoming some new faces to Dominion Academy faculty and staff and introducing some new procedures.  Please make every effort to attend this informative, invigorating, useful, and fun afternoon.
